Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to professional and digital services purchased from dotcompals, including audits, consulting, campaign work, analytics/tracking services, website work and related technical services.
1. Before purchasing
Please review the service description, scope, exclusions and price before payment. If your requirement is unusual, technically complex, urgent or materially different from the published package, contact us before purchasing so that scope and feasibility can be confirmed.
2. Cancellation before work begins
If you request cancellation before substantive work has begun, you may request a refund of the service fee paid, less any non-refundable payment-processing charge or other unavoidable transaction cost actually incurred where permitted by law. Administrative acknowledgement of an order or requesting access does not necessarily mean substantive professional work has begun.
3. Cancellation after work has begun
Once substantive work has started, refunds are assessed based on work already completed, professional time committed, research performed, configuration carried out, deliverables supplied and any non-recoverable third-party costs. Where appropriate, a partial refund may be offered for the clearly unperformed portion of the purchased service.
4. Completed audits, reports and consulting sessions
Once an audit, report, consultation, analysis or other agreed digital deliverable has been substantially completed or delivered, the corresponding service fee is generally non-refundable, except where the service was not provided as described; there was a duplicate or incorrect charge; dotcompals agrees that a material deliverable was not supplied; or a refund is required under applicable law.
5. Implementation and technical work
For tracking repair, website changes, campaign configuration, WordPress work and other implementation services, time already spent diagnosing, configuring, coding, testing or coordinating is chargeable even if the client later decides not to proceed with the remaining work. If a third-party technical limitation makes a requested implementation impossible, we will explain the limitation and, where reasonable, propose an alternative.
6. Monthly and retainer services
- A client may request that future service periods not be renewed unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
- Fees for a service period already started are normally non-refundable in proportion to work already performed or capacity already reserved.
- Unused future periods that have not begun may be cancelled subject to the applicable written agreement.
- Any automatic subscription should be cancelled through the relevant payment platform as well as notified to dotcompals where practical.
7. Advertising spend and third-party costs
Payments made directly to Google, Meta, hosting companies, registrars, software vendors, marketplaces or other third parties are governed by those providers' own policies and are not controlled by dotcompals. Where dotcompals purchases a non-refundable third-party product or service on your approved behalf, that cost cannot normally be refunded unless the third party itself provides a refund.
8. PayPal and payment disputes
If you believe a PayPal payment is incorrect, contact us first with the transaction ID so the matter can be investigated promptly. A payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically determine whether professional work was performed or whether a fee is due. Approved PayPal refunds will normally be returned through the original payment route where practicable.
9. Duplicate or erroneous payments
If you are charged twice for the same order, or an amount was collected in error, notify us with transaction details. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.
10. Client delay or failure to provide access
If work cannot proceed because required access, information, content or approvals are not provided, we will attempt to contact you. A prolonged client-side delay does not automatically create a right to a full refund, particularly where professional time has already been reserved or work has already been performed. Where little or no substantive work has been performed, we will assess a reasonable cancellation or rescheduling option.
11. Missed appointments
For scheduled consulting calls or meetings, please provide reasonable notice if you need to reschedule. Repeated missed appointments or very late cancellations may be treated as consumed professional time where the slot could not reasonably be reallocated.
12. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email [email protected] and include your name/company, service purchased, payment date and transaction/reference ID, reason for the request, and any relevant supporting information.
13. Review of requests
We will review the order, payment, scope and work performed. If a refund is approved, we will communicate the approved amount and initiate it through the appropriate payment route. Bank/payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control.
14. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive a consumer right, remedy or statutory protection that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law, including rights relating to deficient services, unfair trade practices or misleading representations.

It should be reviewed by an Indian lawyer if you introduce subscriptions, downloadable products, consumer SaaS, marketplace sales or materially different services.
