ROAS, Break-even CPA and Max CPL Calculator

Know the numbers your ads must beat before you spend a rupee. Works for online stores and lead generation.

How this works

  1. Margin per order = selling price - product cost - other costs.
  2. Break-even ROAS = selling price / margin per order. Break-even CPA = margin per order.
  3. For lead generation, maximum CPL = profit per customer x lead-to-customer rate.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good ROAS?

It depends on your margin. A 50% margin breaks even at 2x. A 20% margin breaks even at 5x. Anything above your break-even makes money before overheads.

Should I use first-sale profit or lifetime value?

First-sale profit is safer. Use lifetime value only if you have real repeat-purchase data.

What is the difference between ROAS and CPA?

ROAS is revenue divided by ad spend. CPA is ad spend divided by orders. Both describe efficiency from different sides.

Are my numbers stored?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser.
